Beirut , like the phoenix rising from the ashes , has reemerged from its turbulent past , as a cosmopolitan and vibrant metropolis , ready to face the challenges of the third millennium . I believe the city has all the ingredients for a prosperous present and even more successful future : a modern infrastructure , business orientated and hospitable locals , a stunning location nestled between the Mediterranean and the snow capped mountains , an excellent local cuisine and not forgetting our fabulous nightlife .
I am proud to bring my thirty years of expertise in the civil engineering field working in city planning , residential and commercial building development and infrastructure project management, to the service of my city of birth . Helped by an energetic team of staff and councilors . The Municipality prides itself on delivering a quality and cost efficient service to the citizens of Beirut. In particular we are focusing on modernizing the infrastructure of the city and reconstructing all of the public services from side walks to bridges and tunnels , we are also preparing a new 50 years master plan . Beirut is witnessing the biggest reconstruction program in its history.
